Tyler's Story, the heart of TRF.
Tyler Robinson’s inspiring spirit is at the core of everything we do. At just 16 years old, Tyler faced his battle with cancer with courage, positivity, and resilience. His connection with Imagine Dragons and their song “It’s Time” became a symbol of hope that extended far beyond his own journey. After Tyler gained his angel wings in 2013, his family and the band joined forces to create the Tyler Robinson Foundation, ensuring his legacy lives on by supporting families affected by pediatric cancer. Tyler’s story reminds us that even in the darkest times, strength, love, and community can light the way. His legacy is our mission.

Meet Kruz!
Toronto, ON
At just 2 years old, Kruz is one of the youngest and bravest fighters we know. Diagnosed with high-risk Neuroblastoma in September 2025, he has faced chemotherapy, surgery, two bone marrow transplants, radiation, and immunotherapy — all before his third birthday. His parents have given everything to stand by his side, with a new baby on the way and more treatment still ahead. Through it all, this family's love only grows. The Tyler Robinson Foundation Canada is proud to stand beside the Chenthuran family.
Meet Kendrick!
St. John's, NL
Kendrick was just 5 when he was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the Philippines. His family crossed an ocean to give him the best chance at life — and when he rang the bell of hope in April 2025, it felt like a victory hard-won. But Kendrick's fight wasn't over. Now 8, he has faced two relapses with the same quiet courage that has carried him this far, and CAR T-cell therapy is his next chapter. The Tyler Robinson Foundation Canada is honoured to stand beside the Quilantang family.
Meet Dominic!
Vancouver, BC
At just 3 years old, Dominic was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma — an aggressive cancer affecting both eyes — in April 2025. He has faced chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery with a resilience that belies his age. Though his treatment has shown recent progress, his journey is far from over — Dominic's hereditary diagnosis means lifelong monitoring and a continued fight ahead. Through every challenge, his family has shown up for him with unwavering love and strength. The Tyler Robinson Foundation Canada is proud to stand beside the Vito family.
Get Support
At the Tyler Robinson Foundation, we understand that a pediatric cancer diagnosis impacts every part of a family’s life. That’s why we provide holistic support to families, offering financial grants to cover essential non-medical expenses like housing, travel, and groceries, as well as end-of-life costs when needed. Our programs are designed to ease the burden so families can focus on what matters most: caring for their child. Whether you need help navigating financial challenges or simply want to celebrate a milestone during treatment, TRF is here to stand by you. We will build a stronger family together.
