Meet Denver!
St Johns, NL
7 year-old Denver has shown remarkable courage through every stage of his fight. Diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2019, he has endured surgery, chemotherapy, and two stem cell transplants, ringing the Bell of Hope in May 2022 and again in May 2025. Now he is fighting neuroblastoma once more, inspiring everyone around him with his resilience, determination, and positive spirit. His family is holding on to hope and looks forward to the day he rings that bell for a third time.
Meet Hugh!
Kamloops, BC
Hugh has been brave beyond his years. Diagnosed with leukemia at just 20 months old, he spent a full year in Vancouver for intense chemotherapy before finally finishing treatment from home. When a relapse was found in February 2026, Hugh met it with the same strength, beginning more chemotherapy to prepare for CAR T-cell therapy. He will soon need another infusion to help keep him cancer free. His family is holding on to hope, and to the day they are all home together again.
Meet Eleanor!
Hamilton, ON
3 year-old Eleanor, known as Ellie, is a little girl with a big fight ahead. In April 2026, she was diagnosed with Level 3 nonverbal autism, and the very next day, with cancer. Ellie is now working through 14 rounds of chemotherapy and traveling to Jacksonville, Florida, for eight weeks of proton radiation. Her mom is now her full-time caregiver, and her dad is on leave to be by her side. Together, her family is giving Ellie every chance to heal and thrive.

At just 4 years old, Leena is already a fighter. Within 48 hours of a rushed ER visit, she began 18 months of treatment: chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, surgery, radiation, and nearly 300 days in the hospital. Now in the monitoring phase, she still faces long-term effects, and her family continues to navigate financial hardship and loss. Through it all, Leena remains a joyful, loving, and incredibly resilient little girl who inspires everyone around her.

Before her diagnosis, Cattleya was a healthy, active little 2 year old girl. Then an abdominal mass consistent with neuroblastoma changed everything. Now she and her parents are preparing for an 18-month treatment journey. Her mom is at her side full-time, and her dad is stepping back from his job to help care for her. With support from TRF Canada, this family can focus on what matters most: Cattleya’s healing and the strength they find in each other.

10 year-old Eric has faced more than most people face in a lifetime. Diagnosed in 2022 with MDS, which progressed to leukemia, he has endured intensive chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and complications that followed. Nearly four years in, he has spent over 200 nights in the hospital and met every challenge with remarkable resilience. As Eric prepares for a second transplant, his family holds on to hope and treasures every moment together outside the hospital.

At just 2 years old, Kruz is one of the youngest and bravest fighters we know. Diagnosed with high-risk Neuroblastoma in September 2025, he has faced chemotherapy, surgery, two bone marrow transplants, radiation, and immunotherapy. His parents have given everything to stand by his side, with a new baby on the way and more treatment still ahead. Through it all, this family's love only grows.

At just 3 years old, Dominic was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, an aggressive cancer affecting both eyes. He has faced chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery with a resilience that belies his age. Though his treatment has shown recent progress, his journey is far from over. Dominic's hereditary diagnosis means lifelong monitoring and a continued fight ahead. Through every challenge, his family has shown up for him with unwavering love and strength.
Meet Nova!
Ontario
Nova was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in October 2022, just before her 5th birthday. After brain surgery and chemotherapy, she
focused on relearning her motor skills. In September 2025, her family learned of a relapse, prompting renewed treatment. Through her original diagnosis and now her relapse, TRF has remained by Nova’s side. Despite her challenges, Nova maintains a positive attitude, supported by her loving family and friends, especially her sisters, and is determined to chase after them again soon.
Meet Ashton!
Ontario
Ashton’s cancer diagnosis at just 3 years old left his family in shock. His Leukemia diagnosis came with a demanding 3 year treatment plan, requiring his mother to be by his side throughout. Facing the challenge of living on a single income, the family turned
to food banks and sought assistance to secure essential items for their household. TRF stepped in to cover their rent payments, helping the family regain stability to focus on supporting him without the added stress of monthly bills.
Meet Hassan!
Ontario
Hassan's family moved to Canada in 2019 to build a better life. They achieved stability in their careers and became Canadian citizens, eventually buying a home. However, in the summer of 2025, Hassan was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. His mother left work to support him, while his father managed remote work and hospital visits. TRF provided support by helping cover mortgage payments so that the family could remain by Hassan’s side. They remain hopeful for their son's recovery.
Meet Olive!
Ontario
Olive relapsed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and underwent aggressive chemotherapy, but still had significant leukemia in her bone marrow, necessitating a bone marrow transplant. Aware of the months of hospital isolation that would follow, her family utilized a TRF Family Fun Grant to travel to Ottawa, allowing Olive to spend quality time with her family and enjoy just being a kid. Since her transplant TRF has continued to be by her side as her body recovers.
Meet Trytin!
Ontario
At age 11, Trytin experienced leg pain while playing soccer and had a tumor removed, which was later identified as Ewing Sarcoma. He underwent 9 months of chemotherapy
and 2 surgeries, with another one needed to address growth in his right leg, followed by 1.5-2 years of physiotherapy. TRF is assisting Trytin and his single dad with monthly bills and travel costs in their fight against cancer, as Trytin's courage inspires those around him.
Meet Ben!
Ontario
Ben's leukemia diagnosis at just 4 years old shocked his family. TRF provided a Signature Grant to cover monthly bills while his parents supported him. They faced a 200km journey to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto for appointments, often hindered by winter conditions. To ensure timely and safe travel for Ben's early morning visits, TRF also offered a Travel Grant, allowing them to attend appointments together. Ben continues to fight with his family and TRF by his side.
